ABOUT MATT FEERICK
Matt Feerick is a director, performer, and movement specialist who has spent over two decades creating immersive, movement-led theatre across the UK and internationally.
Matt Feerick is an interdisciplinary artist who’s work crosses, physical theatre, clown, improvisation, adaptations of text, immersive theatre, street arts and touring mid-scale theatre. A producer, director, actor and creator of strange, eccentric worlds. He founded and ran International touring theatre company Wet Picnic (wetpicnic.com) for 15 years.
Matt’s work has been performed in museums, train stations, historic buildings, and theatres across the world — with audiences of over one million people worldwide. He has collaborated with institutions including the National Theatre, the RSC, and Told by an Idiot, and created work for cultural landmarks such as the Louvre, the Natural History Museum, and the World Expo in Shanghai. His work was also part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
Trained at École Jacques Lecoq in Paris, Matt’s practice is rooted in physicality, presence, and story. He works across theatre, film, and body-based coaching — with a growing focus on the relationship between movement, the nervous system, and how the body communicates tells a story.
